Material Options

Realistic Bone 3D Models
BoneMatrix materials offer 3D-printed models that authentically replicate the intricate nature of human bones. It mimics porous bone structures, fibrotic tissues, and ligaments with remarkable precision.

Cardiac/Vascular Mimicking 3D Models
Polyjet materials are used to create 3D models that accurately replicate the complexities of cardiac and vascular structures, mimicking the anatomy of the heart and blood vessels.

Realistic Tissue 3D Models
Polyjet materials are used in soft tissue replication, creating realistic 3D models that mimic the texture, elasticity, and feel of soft tissues.

Radio Opaque 3D Models
These 3D models are designed to accurately mimic the radiographic properties of human tissues and structures, incorporating various colours for enhanced visibility.

Single material 3D models
Simple resin 3D models replicate the required patient’s anatomy, enabling easy inspection of anatomical structures.

Data Security & Privacy
Where is Axial3D INSIGHT™ hosted, and how is customer data secured?
Axial3D INSIGHT™ is hosted on the Internet on a “Public Cloud” managed by third-party providers. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is entrusted for data center hosting, ensuring customer data security through encryption within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC).
How does Axial3D ensure the resiliency and security of its services and data?
How does Axial3D manage Customer Data, especially Protected Health Information (PHI)?
Axial3D does not store PHI, focusing on processing anonymized DICOMs. Data is temporarily stored during the anonymization process, removing PHI-related metadata, and immediately destroyed once anonymization is complete.
What security measures are in place to protect Customer Data within Axial3D's system?
Axial3D prioritizes data security through strict access controls, encryption standards (TLS 1.3+ during transmission and AES-256 at rest), bcrypt hashing for passwords, AWS Key Management Service (KMS) for key management, data segregation by customer ID, role-based access control, and strategic storage of Customer Data in specific geographic regions. Data redundancy is ensured through nightly backups stored across multiple availability zones, following rigorous testing protocols for reliability and disaster recovery contingencies.
How does Axial3D ensure personnel security and a secure work environment?
Axial3D prioritizes personnel security through strict Information Security Policies, background checks on new hires, and ongoing security training. All staff members are well-versed in secure work practices, treating Customer Data as a top priority.
What security practices are implemented in Axial3D's operational processes?
Axial3D follows “Secure by Design” and “Secure by Default” principles in product engineering, maintains logical separation in non-production environments, proactively manages security vulnerabilities, uses Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for configuration management, employs comprehensive log management, real-time system monitoring, and established incident response procedures for effective incident resolution.
Quality Status and FDA 510(K) Clearance
Axial3D is certified to ISO 13485 and ISO 27001 (2020) and follows compliance with IEC 62304 Medical Device Software: Software Lifecycle Processes.
