Struggles of Diagnostics

For the last 40 years, physician teams have had to rely on 2D X-ray, MRI, and CT imaging to try to accurately diagnose their patients’ conditions. In spite of their skills and experience, too often the 2D images are not sufficiently clear or precise to enable this level of diagnostic accuracy to be possible, so it is only when the patient is finally being operated on when there is that required certainty of diagnosis.

Inventions to help Diagnostics

In recent years, there have been incredible inventions within the medical technology industry to try and bring software-enabled diagnosis to reality within PACS stations. Whilst some of these inventions are inspiring, they typically rely on time-consuming and nonscalable workflows that are expensive or completely unsuitable for high volume or acute diagnostic settings, meaning they are not the standard of care for most patients and their pathologies.

Axial3D Has the Solution

This is where Axial3D can make a transformational difference. With our precise 3D segmentations surgeons can get the clarity they need 1st time every time. To create precise medical devices and med-tech companies can get a highly scalable solution for creating a new 3D “ground truth” to much more rapidly and accurately build out their invention.

However, we don't stop there. We are now working with our amazing key opinion leader surgeons around the world to help us identify the most critical information that they want to derive from this precise 3D imaging for each patient condition. We then automatically calculate and derive this information as an integral part of the 3D imaging that we provide.
