Hundreds of surgeons to attend Wetlab@DKOU at German Congress of Orthopedics and Traumatology conference, DKOU2019

Wetlab@DKOU, a revolutionary fracture simulator, will be managed by RIMASYS (Leading surgical education and MedTech R&D firm). The Wetlab is set to be a key highlight of the largest European congress in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, DKOU2019.
Axial3D, official sponsor of medical 3D printing at Wetlab@DKOU, will be onsite to share knowledge with surgeons on how medical 3D printing can be used to deliver improved patient outcomes and transform pre-operative planning.
Wetlab@DKOU will take place in Hall 4.2 between October 22-25 2019, at Messe Berlin, Jafféstraße, Berlin. The live workshops will focus on pre and postoperative planning with the newest X-ray and CT imaging, 3D printed fracture models, hands-on operating on lifelike fractured specimen and a final discussion of the results.
Attendees will see how RIMASYS applies the educational principles from aviation to the world of surgical education to support young colleagues as well as experts in mastering surgical skills.
Surgeons from all specialties are invited to improve their practical skills in a lifelike training environment, with courses offered in the most relevant injuries, including:

- Tibial Head
- Essex Lopresti
- Pilon Masterclass
- Elbow Masterclass
- Upper Spine
- Lower Spine
3D printed models of all specimens will be provided by Axial3D during the courses, giving surgeons a unique view of the anatomy for pre-operative planning. It will be a novel opportunity to explore an upcoming solution that’s transforming surgery worldwide.
